I there anyway to change user names?

    I wanted to change my name To Recycle Bin but I already have this account. And aren't alts against the rules?

    To be honest, we do tend not to change user names unless they are words that are deemed unacceptable, or a user has decided to use their email address as user name, reason is that what would stop many from wanting a user name change when they decide they dont like the original one they picked, admin team has enough tasks each day to run through and user name changing is bottom of list.


    Yes indeed multiple user names from same member are frowned upon and we can match IP against what user names are connected with it.

    But as a one off, is it "To Recycle Bin" you want as exact text?

    Not necessarily ;) but if you wish it changed I did say as a one off I would do it, just say yay or nay in your next post and in great Capt Picard voice I will make it so

    Thats a good point Joey, and that user name is a great one for a malware fighter,


    As you just signed up for malware fighting, its not an easy endevour but is rewarding, but will take alot of commitment to achieve sucess and here at Majorgeeks, you do have alot of experts and many who will support you in this, so good luck.

    @All, folks user name changing doesnt happen a lot if at all, this was my yearly good deed and further requests unless a user name change is needed as name is email addy or really good reason for change etc will be ignored.
