i think i have limewire blocked

I think the reason that i cant install Limewire is because i did a scan one time and deleted and made it so it cant come back. I didnt realize it as i did this. But ive tried downloading it many times from many different locations and it wont let me install. If this is the case, how would i fix it?

What happens exactly when you try to install it? Does the installer hang, quit out or do you get an error message?

Something about not having permission to access it.

 

Like having Administrator access? Then I'd talk to whoever that is about giving you permission, or having them install the software for you.
