I Think My 'MS Paint' Is Corrupted (Details Within)

Up until a couple days ago Microsoft Paint was working perfectly and opening with no problems. When I try opening it now I just get a white screen with the minimize, maximize & close buttons in the top right hand corner.

When i click the 'X' to close the program I get the message:

End Program - Paint

This program is not responding. To return to Windows and check the status of the program click Cancel.

If you choose to end the program immediately, you will lose any unsaved data. To end the program now, click End Now

Well when I click 'End Now' nothing happens and it just stays on the same screen. In order to close Paint I have to go into Task Manager and close it that way.
