i use mozilla firefox

    i use mozilla firefox 3.6.8 and it is super slow on start up and opening web pages. Is there something thats better, faster than mozilla firefox I am using windows 7.......thanks Bobby

    Hi

    It shouldnt be slow, you are not using alot of addons are you, try Firefox in its safe mode to see if it works quicker. Try some of this info HERE

    Opera is a quick browser.

    Try the Safe Mode Firefox - should be listed in your Mozilla program group...if there's a change in symptoms, then there's probably an add-on, plug-in, etc. causing the problem...

    If not - how's Internet Explorer working?

    ill try that and internet explorer works good i just dont like using it. i like firefox but omg it is slow for some reason

    If IE is accessing the 'net quickly, then it's got to be a FF issue - if the Safe Mode FF still has problems, then you might consider uninstalling/reinstalling FF with a new download...make sure you get a certified version, such as here...

    You could try Pale Moon, it's based on an optimised version of Firefox 3.6.8.

    The other alternative to Firefox browser is comodo dragon very fast and highly secure. give it a try.
