I Was Foolish, Now My System's Slow! :(

Hi! I have a Win7/64 laptop at a day program. Recently, I let somebody there download and install some music-related software, including iTunes and stuff from uTorrent and Pirate Bay. I shouldn't have done that, because, now, the system's very slow and gives me a lot of popups. :( I know how to use the Task Manager if I need to. I'm asking how to figure out which programs are slowing down the system and disable them. BTW, one program--I believe it's the Avast anti-virus program--asks for administrator's permission on startup. I've been clicking "No."

I downloaded the program. Thanks. :)

I tried the program. I clicked the traffic lights icon--forgot what it was called--and disabled some programs I didn't think I needed but didn't restart the system that day, because I was in the middle of something at the time. The next day, I started the system but saw no noticeable change. :(
