    have a IBM NetVista 6579.
She wanna use Netcore wirless usb adaptor for internet connection. But computer does not recognize it.
When i put this "Netcore wirless usb adaptor " in my laptop it work fine.
I also installed driver cd ,which came with it.
please let me know the solution of this problem.
On the same pc usb port my hp printer work fine. That mean usb port is working
I am also requesting to know which os is best, Win 2000 professional or Win XP Professional for this computer.Because the manual says windows 2000 professional. It does not mention about windows xp professional.

Stick with Win2000 because that's what was installed when it was new. You probably will have a hard time finding XP drivers for the NetVista 6579-TAU.

Does the netcore USB wifi adapter have a model number? I'm not having much luck finding a company behind this product.
