    Hi thanks for looking.
I've got an IBM T42 the system boots to an external monitor runs fine into bios, but as soon as I connect the onboard LCD it starts and shuts down a few seconds later. I've tried two LCD's and three inverters. Is this the GPU problem with a new angle? I don't want to reflow it, only to find out its something else.
    - in case this can't be answered here, a brief discussion about trolls who say, buy a new laptop, or get a new motherboard. I've noticed on every board people type just to read what they write its annoying. Thanks in advance to anyting useful that is added.
