    Hey gang,
I have a fairly easy question for you guys today. :)

Thanks again for all of your help in the past!
Today I am wondering about memory compatibility in a IBM Thinkpad t40 (2374-BU7) model. It currently has 512MB running at 266Mhz. I was wondering tf this model will accept PC2700 or possibly even pc3200?

If anyone could help, I would be much appreciative.

    Thanks in advance,
    Randy O.

Thanks for any help guys, but I found the answers at http://www.thinkpads.com
The issue is with the System Clock speed being at 133 Mhz, which limits me to use RAm at 266Mhz freq. The reason why it came with DDR 333 is because of the limited supply (? laughable) of DDR266 (PC 2100).

Life sucks, and then you move on :)

Thanks again for any attempts for help.

    Randy O.
