ICM files are not monitor drivers fully they are more colour profiles used to allow say a printer to print same colours as you monitor is calibrated to, work for Scanners and Cameras also.

although they are a pain in most cases and the default settings of printers these days are good enough to not warrant these files being adjusted, Windows installed a generic driver for monitors thats really ok, and last timeI did install a monitor ICM profile from my LCD makers in Samsung all whites went yellowy!


Did download this to see what was in it and........ to add whats in the download package in the INF ( INF resolution settings what is a driver file plus the ICM colour profs to your DELL ), you'll need to do it manually, goto Device Manager and find your Monitor and double click it, click Driver tab and then update driver, click browse my computer then locate the unzipped driver and ICM file you downloaded and hihlight it and click OK then Next and follow prompts to install.


TBH if your monitor is working ok, then these are not really needed, but can be uninstalled if colours start to look wrong from your display or printer etc
