Perhaps you should reinstal whatever program you used and restore the default icons before uninstalling it.

well i just used system restore and so far it fixed the problem , but i would really want to change some of the icons for my comp. Is there a really good program other then Icon Changer that will replace the original icon so all the shortcuts change by themselves

I don't really know one offhand, I don't really mess with things like that, IN fact most of the time I have XP Themes turned off.

    Sorry I can't help more.

one question whenever i change the icon it ask if i want to embedded it ? not sure what that means and i always click no
