Icons in Start Menu Dun't Show

Well, to start off, my lil bro installed one of those applets wen asked ona site. After that bunch of Spywares were installed. I deleted them with adaware. But one problem that started after the reboot was that my icons in start menu (ie internet explorer, outlook..etc..)dun't appear any more
The names are there, but icons are blank. Plz help

 

You may still have some Spyware. I would follow the steps in the link below and see if it solves the problem.

Weirdly enuff, it fixed itself. EVen though i'd very much like to know what happened, and how it fixed itself, i dun't wanna bother any1. so if u have ample amount of time and kno wat mite have caused this, i'd be happy to know. btw, it got fixed wen i turned on Frozen Throne (game) and alt+tabbed out. Very weird. neways thx
