Icy Box Usb Raid Goes Missing, Comes Back, Missing Again...

Hello peeps, I hope you are all doing well.

My 3 drive Icy Box USB raid worked fine for 2 or so years, but now it is missing every second time or more that I start my PC. I don't know if it is a failing drive, a failing raid box, or a Windows 10 update!

The 3 drive raid 5 (type) was created in windows, not by hardware on the box and not in bios... so it is possible a windows 10 update has done something. In Storage Pool, the 3 drives are all called OK. The raid is Parity type. Next to the raid name, "Media Drive" is an information icon which says "inaccessible by user action". I know that, the drive is missing! (see attached photo)

Is there a good way to diagnose what's going on here?

UPDATE:
I plugged the raid into my laptop and it was seen, working fine... as it does sometimes on my desktop PC... but why intermittent? I checked the drives are properly seated, that the cable is plugged in firmly. I will try a different usb port (I already tried a different cable). I also don't know if it will be intermittent on my laptop, given time.

 

One thing worth consideration- have you cleaned the usb unplugged devices-IN Driver Booster there is a click to do this- My last clean up found over 40 device data instances-one click cleared them. I find if not done regularly, the usb plug point would play up

Thanks mate, I will give that a go.
I also removed a lot of stuff off the drive and so far 3/3 reboots, it's been there.
