i have to replace my motherboard but have no clue what type of chipset or socket or bus speed of it. I've have the motherboard removed and can't find any marking telling me. All i have is a serial number

Serial number wont really help much, are their any FCC numbers?

Was the PC a custom build or a pre-built one from DELL, HP etc
