I have two hard drives, and IDE and a SATA. The SATA is a little faster so would like to have it as the system drive. Both drives have windows loaded on the first partition.

How does one change IDE from "bus 0" to "bus 1", and SATA viceversa?

Thanks for any and all consideration.

    Bios choices. If available.
    Sorry ....try this:
disconnect all the ide drives - then boot from the windows cd - press f6 to install scsi drivers - use the drivers u have - then install windows onto the only drive detected and connected .....

after you've got it up and running sweet - you can reconnect the ide drives ....

    Thanks Tim,

I installed SATA drivers, installed windows on SATA drive, reconnected IDE drive with windows installed already , and it boots to IDE drive.

    I will check bios tomorrow.

    Your input is appreciated. :)
