I want to know if you can install an IDE DH Card if your motherboard IDE Controller is working fine?? I would like to have more than 2 physical Hard Drives installed.

    System stats: Win XP SP2, HD0=8GB, HD1=20GB, CD0=CDROM, CD1=CDR/RW, 800 MHz Athlon, 512M PC133

    Please advise

you mean like another ide controller, right? if so, that's fine.

just make sure that you have the driver disk in case you want to install windows on a hard drive connected to the new controller. and if you do boot off of a hard drive on the controller, you'll need to tell the computer to boot off the external or scsi device. of course, the easy thing to do is to put the 20 gig on the controller card and a brand spankin' new 400gig on the motherboard ide controller:D so you don't need to even worry about what i just told you
