IDE to Sata Converter

Can somebody please help me!

Need to connect my old hard drive to my new PC, I bought an ide to Sata converter, I just need to know how to hook it up.

Most of the ones of this sort comprise a small circuit board which plugs directly into the old hard drive where the old flat cable used to go. There are connectors on the other side of the board to receive the new SATA cabling Data and Power.
Some boards have powere supply adapters to convert the old power supply to SATA, some do this with a separate adapter cable.

All plugs will only plug in one way and to the correct socket.

If you need more help try to post a picture of your particular adapter - there are so many.
