Ok so I just upgraded my computer and I only have 1 IDE hookup on the motherboard and 4 IDE devices. Is there any way I can hook the other 2 devices up through the SATA ports via a converter or something? I really do not want to go buy new hard drives since I just sunk $1350 into the other parts.

Have you thought about putting a PCI EIDE Controller Card in whereby you could add another 2 NP ... thats if i am reading your post correctly. I take it the 2 unconnected HD's you have are EIDE.

Yea I could get one of those but I don't have a whole lot of room down there. Are there any other options?

I had this prob a while a go and had to do some juggling to get a card in, basically I removed Ethernet card and used onboard LAN, removed TV/Video card so it was a case of priorities.. Have found the reverse whereby connect EIDE from SATA controller but thats not what you require :-(
How about using a USB caddy/enclosure and hook one up externally ???
