IE 6.0 browser won't retain text size

I like large type so I set my browser text size to largest. However when I open a new window the text size has been changed to medium. How do I get my browser to retain my desired settings.

Any help is appreciated

 

HI, By your post I presume you have gone to the View menu and set the text to large size. This works with my browser and that is all that needs to be done. I am using the browser that came with XP plus all updates. Peace Mal

 

Hi Mal: Yes, I am using view, text, largest and I get the largest text initially. But if I open MS Outlook and then open a new browser window it shows up as medium text and I have to reset the size to the largest text.

I am using IE 6.0 and all the latest service packs and updates.

Any other ideas. I have tried the Microsoft support page but that is total confusion.

HI, You can set XP to use a large text itself but you most probably do that already. Maybe reinstall or repair IE. It does have a repair facility. Change your screen resolution. I gave up using IE a while ago and usually use Opera except for banking etc. Peace Mal
