Hi folks
I have just run into a problem with the above. On right clicking on IE When i have many windows open and i wish to close the GROUP it is grayed out for some reason. So am unable to close IE. All my other browsers are OK. Any idea's on why the close group should be grayed out? Thanks in advance
PS it has been OK for the past 30 months

I have tried putting the browser back with the defaults in. The browser is working fine no messages or script errors. It closes OK when using ALT/F4 Mystery but then IE can get like that sometime. Thanks xflat for looking into it for me

I have just closed the browser down using ALT/F4 and opened it up again and the close group box is now OK. I would now think this is most probably a bug of some sort where it will work OK one minute and not the next. I will have to keep an eye out in case it develops into something More serious. Hopefully one of us will come up with an answer

I have just realized that it may be down to the amount of windows open? I sometimes have 25 open at one time and this may be the problem?

 

Strange one... I did a quick test before goingto WU and opened 40 IE windows and a few HD windows that were already open and in their own TB group then right click and close group on the IE ones all ok... then went to WU to scan and get any missing updates the only missing ones were , KBs ... 828741,835732,837001,837009 mostly IE security.. then rebooted as instructed and opened 40 IE windows a few HD ones and then did same right click TB and close group, all ok and closed with no probs.

will keep my eyes out for an info on that issue tho.

Today it has been OK but last night it was playing up. Thanks anyhow for keeping a look out for a fix
