IE 7 keep locking up

This is happening constanly! I am running Windows Vista with IE 7 and at least twice an hour it will freeze up and I can't even close it (I have to go to the task manager). Is this normal with Vista and IE (I just got Vista/new PC)? I don't want to use Mozilla because I've been using IE all my life. If anyone has suggestions please help.



PS: I already reset everything for IE in the tools menu (disabled the add-ons) - that didn't solve the problem.

 

No not normal w/IE7 and Vista, do you get pop-ups or redirects? Could you have malware? Did you install something prior to this starting? Have you installed SP1, did you check for mfg. updates to your PC?
