IE 7 problems !!!

I use as default Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.9.

There, when I click on an email address to be opened, it opens automatically tens of windows of Internet Explorer 7 !!!!!!

How can I correct this, so that all emails links of Mozilla open in my Outlook 2003 ??

Another problem is that when I click an email link in Internet Explorer 7, IE7 does not open the email link but says:

"Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed."

So, I guess these have to do with some Outlook 2003 settings !!!

Sounds like both of you might want to try the malware forum and make sure you aren't infected with something..... Be sure to follow the instructions. It's time consuming but worth it.

I added something on my previous note !

The problem started after I installed IE 7.

I did a thorough scan with BITDEFENDER and did not find anything ... confused

 

It still might not hurt to ask the guys if they have heard of a bug that could cause that problem. Let them know that you ran the scan and didn't find anything. It seems like I saw at least one other post like yours (unless it was yours).

I reinstalled IE7 and it works great now with the email links, as well as Firefox.

They both open in Outlook 2003.
