ie 8

    i hope this is the right place to put this if please move it. when i do a update with windows xp it always seem to put ie 8 on my pc.i dont want to use ie 8. so how can i stop it installing when it does updates i only want chrome and firefox. it seems every update its there so i uninstall use revuninstall pro to remove or am i removing it.

    in IE go to the windows update site and choose custom update. find ie8 update, uncheck it then check the box to not show it again.
