Well, should come as no surprise to anyone, but this confuses me (Screen-shot attached as per usual).

I thought one either had a 32, OR a 64-Bit OS. I seem to have IE (8) which will . . . display redundancy/confusion/clutter on my (already "busy") screen...?

Anyone willing to offer a link or brief/short "bit" of help?

    Thanks in advance,
    glenn . . .

Windows 7, if running 64 bit installs both browers for everyone. Do not attempt to remove either one. Steer clear of the 64bit IE because flash has been a problem. Update to v9, whether you use IE or not. Keep it patvched.
Make sure when you launch IE, you run the 32 bit and not the 64 bit.

Flash Player 11 works beautifully on both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of IE.

You can find the 64-bit installer at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/909550
