    Firebird 1001; MSIE 0

I think that makes 1,000 and ONE reasons why I prefer Firebird to IE for everything that MS hasn't locked down to prevent other browsers from using it (like Windows Update). In Firebird, the spoof is OBVIOUS.

so far I'm liking firebird.. it supports I-frames properly and that make me happy. This is the first browser that I may truly switch to 100%.

somethings are just not rendered properly.

Just wondering what version you were running? Also, are you sure they were rendered properly just IE has always rendered them improperly? ;) :D

running the latest version. The code is not set for proprietary IE stuff. I got out of that a while ago. In one of my older apps, It renders tables with a raised look so it defeats the purpose of having the table transparent.

I'm kinda surprised, cuz I've never noticed anything Firebird couldn't hack EXCEPT the danged pages that cater expressly (and solely) to Insufferable Exploiter.

Would you post a link to something your FB can't handle, so I can verify that failure in mine, Kodo?

hit reply to the post. the text area is rendered to narrow.

also, tables that do not have a border color are rendered with a raised look. I hate that..

Hmmm. Never knew that was narrower than it was supposed to be. I tried it in Netscape 7.1, and it's the same as in Firebird (same core, though, so no surprise), but it's twice as wide in IE.

Well. So the text has to wrap a little more. I don't think that's going to bother me, but I can see how it might bother others.
