IE cannot display the webpage

    I have been getting this message when i view sites for a few weeks now i dont know why as my internet connection is working and i have to keep refreshing the page to view the site what could be the problem ?

    What version of Windows are you running with which Service Pack and what version of IE are you running?

    We'll need to know that.

    Is this just one web site or is it all of them?

    If you open a page, does it display and then disappear after a few seconds?

    some websites but it can happen anytime not just on IE but mozilla and chrome too

    This is going to sound irrelevant, but do you have DiVX installed? It's caused problems with browsers, particularly with IE's Hotmail (now Outlook) Sign in page.

    Uninstall it and then give it a try again..may be it would help!!
