Trying to look at MS support sites, I have a logon to WindowsLive or whatever its now called, but my IE is claimed to not allow cookies! Well, I have tried Default Privacy and also Allow, Allow, Allow & restart IE. Still I am told I do not allow cookies. As MS support does not appreciate FF how can I enable those pesky IE cookies and ask MS a question?

Was just trying to avoid bothering the Geeks when I know it is an MS problem.

    Hi

What IE version are you using?

Run CCleaner and clean out temps and cookies, with browser closed, then try again, if the same then add the MS Support site as a Trusted Site, in Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Sites and paste in the url and click Allow.

If that doesnt help in the same location move the slider from its default medium to a lower setting to test.

In Tools > Internet Options > Security, reset all Zones to default.

Its also possible that one of your security applications is causing this, ZoneAlarm Firewall was prone to this, something like spybot could also cause this, disable them to test.

Well, Halo - sort of working backwards through your list making the site a Trusted site did the trick.
