IE is needing help

ok heres whats going on...everytime i close IE i get a stupid error message, even when i dont even load anything ..i use blank and nothing..ive scanned for spyware, a virus,and even used hijackthis and nothing ive seach google for it to and nothing... heres the error i get AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0159217d


ive also tried to see if i could use the repair option in add and remove but its not there ..so if anyone knows anything ..im all ears

 

You have Windows XP so you might want to try the "System File Checker".

Click on the start menu, then on run then type sfc /scannow

You will need your Windows XP for this operation.

I've heard you should do this if you are having problems with IE. Hope this helps.
