IE not connecting

Hello,
I normally run Opera, but as any Opera user knows, some pages are too stupid to work in Opera and require IE. I recently needed to get to a site in IE but IE refuses to connect to anything. i.e. as if i was ofline, whereas Opera and everything else goes online without any problems.
I checked proxy configs (all off), connection details (all ok) and security (turned to Medium default) and nothing.

anyone one had similar problems? and did ya get it fixed?

 

I'll have a look when i get back home, but it shouldn't be, of course, you never know!! my firewall recently reset all its settings, so.. good thinking...

It uses the IE engine, but seems quicker, and less bloated.



Won't help your problem if your firewall is restricting IE though.

I use Opera also, and use MyIE2 on pages that don't play well with Opera.
