I ran tracert on 207.179.101.19 and it looks like the site's routers can't resolve this address. It might be just a temporary anomaly, as this is a flaggable router event. Since you can't reliably connect within the TTL ( time to live ) window, any packets, including 'ping' will just get flushed.

Have you contacted your ISP about this?

I did contact isp, they did some diag (cmd. advert) and said everything is fine on their end. I set up a new connection. Some articles discussed firewall issues and have disabled still getting the out/in bound and dns search order failed. Have cleaned up all unnessary software (avg, cc, spybot etc.) and reloaded ie and oe. (see attch log )

Do NOT be on the Internet without firewall protection. Doing so can lead to malware infestation quicker than you can blink an eye.

Are you saying "avg, cc, spybot etc." are unnecessary?

Ya, you cant be on the internet with out a firewall, thats absurd! But it is kinda weird that you bring up having IE issues. A buddy of mine wanted to run a Live CD of PUPPY Linux that i have, and after rebooting back to XP his IE went dead. I know that you didnt run a Live CD, but he called his ISP and they ran him around and eventually told him that everything is good. Then he reverted to doing a system restore to yesterday just to reset any settings that "might" have changed, though none should have, and it wouldnt let him do any kinda restore. Three different restore days, no system restore. Have you tried temporarily going non-encrypted wifi (assuming your not hard-lined)? I did that with my Shit-sta and then reverted back and everything worked ok. Hope this could help, and i could use some help for my buddy as well.

(Not trying to hijack your post ForceAccount, just tryin to get the same answers)
