IE opens then shuts

    Yes its me again, geeze i bet ur sick o seein me on ere..... My son decided to download a new version of msn messenger (it may be unrelated) but now when IE opens it doesnt get time to load a page, then it shuts down again, no error messages or anything. Any ideas?

    i do think its got summat to do with this new version of msn, cos when i restored pc to a date before it was installed, it started working fine.

    Go to control panel > internet options >general tab >temporary internet files section > settings > view objects.

    At this point, delete them all, or see if there are one or more labelled as damaged and remove those.

    You may have a differnet reason then I did,but look at page 3 in software.
    Subject "I.E. 6.0 cannot open multiple windows" the originator is "Colkid".
    Something there may help you.
