Ie Problem...Help

Please Help.
Using Win2000. When I open Internet Explorer all goes well to start. Puts me at homepage. If I go to a site like majorgeeks or cnet, my system seems to slow and typing into a search box takes 5 to 10 seconds for letters to show up after typing. Have run spyware removal and anti virus. Found Bugbear and ran removal tool successfully which has led me to be at the above situation. Any help greatly appreciated.

2. have tons of spyware on your machine..

download Ad-aware and/or spybot-search and destroy from the front page. www.majorgeeks.com and run a scan on your system.

report back when done.

 

Thanks for the reply Kodo. I have run Spybot Search and Destroy...to no avail. Also ran Trojan Remover, Norton Antivirus(up to date), Avast Antivirus, and Bugbear removal tool from Symantec. Somehow this odd problem persists with delayed type appearance. It's Killing me.
Any other thoughts or steps I might take?

 

Thanks for the help. I had run Spybot Search and Destroy previously which had not completely fixxed the prob. Downloaded and ran Ad Aware which appears to have found more spyware and fixxed the problem. Thanks again for your help, this site is top notch!
