I use IE at work. Recently I have not been able to access my MSN hotmail account. IE encounters a problem and closes. I can surf most sites but if I try to access a site that requires a username and password IE crashes. I tried my PC banking site and another professional site and I can't login. This was not a problem in the past. I haven't changed computers or upgraded - the only change I am aware of is that my company recently moved into a new building (we use a network).

I lowered all security settings and turned off the Google popup blocker - same problem occurs. IE crashes. The ITs at work say get FF, but I'd like to try to fix the problem if possible. As I recall, my computer is a PII running Windows NT with IE6.

    any help? i appreciate it.

    Windows NT? 4, 2k, 3.5, xp?

If firefox works then we can narrow it down to IE.

If Firefox does not work, then it is something else.
