IE problem

I am experiencing a weird problem connecting to the internet.

We have two user names, D & S. S is the administrator. Both D & S can connect to the internet. S can connect to the internet for every program, including IE. S can connect to the internet for every program (e.g., outlook, spybot, etc.) EXCEPT IE. When we try and pull up web pages we get "page cannot be found or dns error."

I'm confused. Recently ran an updated spybot no problems. Updated on on windows updates, etc.

CORRECTION.. I meant to say "D" can connect to the interney through every program including IE. S can connect to the internet through every program except IE.

 

I would first try un/reinstalling IE as S. You can find this in the 'Windows Components' section of Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

Then I would try IEFix, if that didn't work.

Once the problem is resolved, I would switch to Mozilla Firefox to browse the web. Heh.

Are you serious about Mozilla Firefox? I know nothing about it.

 

D'OH! Sorry, I did find it in the Windows Components. Did the Un/reinstall. Downlaoded and ran IE FIX. Nothing. Same problem.

Still works fine for user D.
