Computer has IE 6 SP2, with XP Pro SP2, when trying to print from Outlook 2002 the attached error comes up.

I have tried IE Fix, IE upgrade to 7.0, registry scans and brief cleaning. The only thing I havn't dont was upgrade Office and IE together.

    Any suggestions?

Its a JS error, the email thats sent to you was in HTML ?

DOes it happen just on one email ? DOes it print if you just hit yes.

OK its trying to show a preview dialog I think by invoking it as a function in shdoclc.dll, (can you confirm that shdoclc.dll is in %system32%)

I reckon a remove and reinstal of the printer drivers should fix this.

I have been working on this computer for about an hour and can't figure this out to save my life. If you can imagine it, I have tried it. I updated Office to the O3 version, IE to version 7 (back to 6 now). I have also tried reinstalling the driver, a new driver and an old driver. Nothing has yet to work, I have even tried using some patched I found around the net. I have used IEFix and it hasnt helped either.

These errors come up when trying to print from any email in Outlook. Printing from anything else works fine, it's just Outlook and Internet Explorer. The printer is connected via IP over the network.

I am out of ideas, any suggestions?

By the way, the below errors, once you click print in Outlook these come up together.

Hmm I was kinda hoping the printer driver reinstal would help.

You say you've looked around a lot but I'm not sure what you've tried.

    Try

    regsvr32 iepeers.dll
    regsvr32 ole32.dll

<!-- EDIT: you might try turning off script debugging too -->

BJ ...as a workaround ....I.E. / tools / internet options / Select the 'Advanced' tab and ensure that 'Disable script debugging' is NOT checked.
After setting these options restart your computer.

The next time a topic is printed you will receive the following error: Runtime error...do you wish to debug ....select no. If you select 'NO' to this message the topic will be printed successfully and you will be able to continue printing other topics (this message will be displayed each time a topic is printed but, providing you say 'NO' to this message, you should be able to successfully print all topics).

See if this works for now.

    another possible:
According to MS knowledge base the script error is result of a corrupted iepeers.dll file. The solution is to rename the file iepeers.old, and then extract and install the iepeers.dll file from your Windows CD cab files and install it in the C:\windows\system folder.

I manually deleted the file and extracted a fresh one from the XP SP2 CD. I renamed and re registered it. I'm lost on this for real, I will try the other suggestion about Disabling the script debugging.

I am here with the computer now, I have tried everything suggested and nothing has worked. I am not sure what the heck is going on but I am about to reinstall because I am tired of fooling with this simple error.

I have deleted the files, unregistered, registered and replaced the DLL files with older ones and nothing has changed, same three errors.

Sorry you've had to resort to a reinstall, I am all out of ideas though.

You might try a repair instal so you don't lose all your programs and settings and the like but having said that sometimes its nice starting again with a fresh install. Your call ;)

I can't believe this error is being this stubborn, I mean it's not changing no matter what I do. I will try a repair first, then if it doesnt fix it, format and oh will I enjoy formatting this..nvmd lol.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I appreciate the time.

This is very strange, however it has happened to another computer. This computer has WinXP Pro SP2 with the new IE7, Office 2003 Pro and all updates for Windows & Office.

When printing from Outlook or IE these same three script errors come up and will not allow printing. All printers have been removed and reinstalled, there is only one network printer attached now. All these suggestions have been tried with no success, registry cleaners, nothing has worked. The only thing I have not tried is a repair of Windows.

Any suggestions on this strange behavior?
