ie script error help

    howdie all, having problems. im getting:
    ie script error
    line 260
    char 2
    component error dispatcher is undefined
    code 0

    CLSID_CPestDatabase-(catastrophic failure 0x8000ffff)

    evrything has slowed down and when i try and close inernet page, comp. freezes. takes longer now to connect, reboot, browse,
    running wind xp
    can anyone help?
