    Hi All!!! :)

I've searched the forum and haven't found an answer so here we go . . .

I am working on a special research project and searching the internet for a lot of info. This project also involves storing info in 2 Yahoo email accounts. I was saving all the files in the Temporary Internet folder until I was sure I wouldn't need the info anymore or I had a chance to pull the info I needed for the project. Then I would clear the cache, etc. and start clean. This was working fine for me until yesterday. I had deleted some emails from my email account and discovered I still needed the info. I searched thru the TI folder and every time I would try to open a file with IE to pull up the info, it would take me back to the Yahoo Mail login screen. It was working fine before, but now this??? What happened? It's like it's there, but I can't get to it in IE. I tried using Word Pad and Note Pad and I can tell that what I need is there, but I need it in a format I can "see" properly? The only thing that I remember doing is changing the settings so that hidden files could be seen (because of another problem I was having with another software). Any clues???

One more related question re: Yahoo Mail: Sometimes when I'm in Compose and I'm trying to send email, something will happen like my computer freezing up and I end up losing all of my info. My question: Is there a file in IE TI that has the lost info? If so, what is the name of it or what should I look for? Could it be somewhere else on the HD?

O/S - ME, IE - 6.0.2800.1106, 20GB HD. Let me know if more info is needed.

THANK YOU very much in advance, I appreciate any help. :)

Try opening it with another browser like Firefox (link:http://www.majorgeeks.com/Mozilla_Firefox_d2248.html) or an all purpose file viewer like Universal (link: http://majorgeeks.com/Universal_Viewer_Lite_d5422.html). Either one should work just fine. When you're composing an email and it either 'times out' or gets lost for some reason (like a PC lock-up) it's basically gone forever. As far as I know, no email clients save a work in progress; nothing gets saved unless you save it manually or until it gets sent. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's how it is.

THANK YOU hopperdave2000!!! I'll try Universal and see if I can bring the files ups. Thanks again, I really, really, REALLY APPRECIATE the help! Have a great weekend!
