IE website popping up

    All of a sudden I am getting pop ups of the login site of Windows Live Hotmail inviting me to join up. I don't want this to happen. How can I stop this?

    Ron, what are they saying as if you have an old Hotmail account then if the popups are for the newer Windows Live Hotmail then this will be normal as MS are migrating ALL users to the new Live Hotmail over this coming year, you will have to move as its no option as the old servers are retiring.

    I don't remember ever having a Hotmail email address. I noticed that it pops up when I am in MailWasher and click on "Process Mail". Reckon this would stop if I went ahead and signed up for a hotmail address?

    No you have no need to sign up for Live Hotmail ( didnt know you didnt have an account or were using Mailwasher ) if you dont have any Hotmail account, so really you should not be getting popups.

    Can you post a screenshot of the popup?

    also is the mail account thats having these popups the same one and also is the senders email account a hotmail one?
