    HOw do I uninstall Internet Explorer and have Mozilla take over!?!?!

    You don't. IE is needed by the operating system. Make Mozilla your default browser. Simple as that.

    There is no need to uninstall IE, and you do need it for Window updates. Like Hipster said, just make Firefox your default browser.............. :)

    Plus, you will eventually find that you will be forced to use Internet Explorer again in the future. One being Windows Update, others being certain websites that just don't work right or support the Mozilla browser.

    For the most part I use Mozilla nonstop.
