I'm running XP svc pk 2 and IE6 on a HP., Single user with standard settings and admin privg. I'm running AVG,Spybot, and Ad-aware.
When in IE6, I go to tools>internet options, I'm blocked out and the box comes up-"This operation has been canc. due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator". I supect a virus.
Anyone know how to backdoor into the system so i can reset it? OR Where in the registry to even start looking?

See if this is checked---- uncheck the "Protect IE Toolbar"
feature in the Immunized option on my SpyBot.

Thank you. Found "lock IE settings from changes with-in IE" under settings tab on Spybot. Works OK now with it unchecked.
