IE6 blank web page

I've got a bit of a problem. IE6 won't open ANY web page,period! I have noticed that under in the encoding (under view), it is none with no other option. As if not seeing a web page wasn't enough system restore will not work. I have installed IE7 beta and all works fine until update time when I have to re-install "6" and work around Microsoft to find the correct updates and download and install them manually (using non IE based browser) also any other browser based on IE will not work when "6" is installed. I've bookmarked the work around at MS but it calls for registry edits and seems unclear as to were I'm to start. I 'm not comfortable in the registry as it is and that just compounds my anxiety. If anybody can steer me in the right direction it would be appreciated .

Have you ever tried IE Fix?

 

No, I do have it downloaded but it doesn't seem to address my issues so I tried LSPFix to no avail.

This is just to update thread. Thanks Mada_Milty, in prep for "update Tuesday", i uninstalled IE7 beta2 and decided that I was going to fix "6" or else. Ran IE Fix with noteable success "6" seems to work as does system restore. It seems you can mark this thread fixed.
