Ie6 Nagging Problem

Running win2000 and Ie6. All appears to be well until trying to login to banking info. Go to the bank's website and all is well. Click the "login" button and it cant load page, however all else works fine. Recently ran ad-aware and spybot to clean up other problems. Bank claims no issues on their website, but still unable to get to loigin screen. Anythoughts?

Are you running a firewall? If so, try turning it off and then log in. If you can get in this way, you will want to tweak the settings for the website to allow it to work through the firewall.

First off check your Privacy settings > whats the slider on High, Medium or Low?

as your bank may need to set a cookie to identify you.

Using a linksys router w/firewall. Other computer on router goes to website and opens login with no problem, so I figured it was with the individual PC. No other firewall on that PC.

Lowered privacy and security to lowest settings...no luck.

Deleted all cookies and files and started fresh...to no avail. Logged in and out on 2nd PC, but unfortunately still no help in logging in on original PC. (

My only suggestiong is to get the computers next to each other then making sure the setting on the computer that won't work are exactly the same as the settings on a computer that works.
