IE7 Address bar dissappeared

I reciently upgraded internet explorer to version 7 from version 6.
since the upgrade the address bar has dissapeared.

I checked every setting i could think of but could not find it.

I downgraded IE to see if that helped and when i got back to verion 6 it was ok. so i upgraded again and the same thing.

Ive searched the net but cannot find any solution. I see other people have had this problem but im yet to find a thread or article explaining how to fix it.

In the meantime im using firefox (my preference) but this is not my computer thats having the problem.

Any ideas?

Can you uninstall the Yahoo toolbar to see whether that resolves this?

 

Ive uninstalled and restarted my system but no change.

 

I found the problem.
I was digging through the registry for a long time but i came accross this.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbars\Restrictions

"NoAddressBar" "NoToolBar" "NoNavBar" were the three options in here.

"NoAddressBar" was set to 1 so i changed it to 0 and reloaded iexplorer and bam. i have my address bar back.

Just thought id post it here incase anyone else has this issue.
No idea how my address bar dissappeared and who changed this setting.
