IE7 and Flash plug-in...

    How do I stop IE7 constantly prompting me to install the Flash plug-in? I don't want to install it as it's on a game-playing system and will only be used to display unwanted ads. Anyway of shuttin IE7 up?:mad:

    You could download it, then disable it by going to tools->internet options, programs tab, manage add-ons.

    If you go into the security tab of internet options, you can also find options to turn off the installation of ANY active x controls. That might block other stuff you want, though.
