IE7 Lock Up

About half the time when I try to open IE7 it will not open my homepage and I get the following errors:

C:\DOCUME~1\William\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERda52.dir00\iexplore.exe.mdmp
C:\DOCUME~1\William\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERda52.dir00\appcompat.txt

I have no idea what these are or how to fix this. Please help.

 

Try uninstalling IE7 using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, and see if you get the same error in IE6. If not, then we know that it's particular to IE7. If you do get the error with IE6, then we know the error is caused by something in Windows (probably). Try removing and re-installing IE7 and see what happens. Reboot after the un-install, before re-installing IE7....

Or first try clearing your temp files with crap cleaner. As thats a temp folder.

Ok did that same problem still exists......HELP! PLEASE!
