Recently Yelp.com has been showing only text. I am using IE7 with Windows XP. How can I resolve this?

Is this the only website giving you an issue?

Yes this is the only site that has this problem.

Have you tried to reset Internet Explorer back to factory default settings?

Open Internet Explorer and do the following steps...

    1. Tools
    2. Internet Options
    3. Click the "Advanced" tab
    4. Click the "Reset" button.

Notice: This will change homepage, search engine and other details back to factory defaults.

Also you might try switching away from Internet Explorer 7 and use Mozilla Firefox.

Yes I have and it didn't work. I am at work, and IE7 is what we are supposed to use. I use Firefox at home.

Try running the program CCleaner. Run the Termporary File Cleanup part first and then the Registry Cleanup.

If that doesn't fix the issue then I would talk to your IT Technician at your office.

As another side question, does the website work for another person working in the same office?

Yes that site is like that for others in our office so I guess it is an IT thing. Back to Firefox!

My guess is one of the following.

    1. Your IT person has some type of Content Filtering System.
    2. A Internet Security software installed on your computer may be causing the problem.

Hope your able to get the issue resolved.

Thanks for your input. I guess I will be using Firefox cuz it works there at work, just not on IE7. Does this make sense?

By using Mozilla Firefox on that same computer your able to use yelp.com without any issues. Correct?

If that is the case I would say your IT person has possibly setup some type of policy on the computer that only causes a restriction on Internet Explorer, therefore the reason they only want you to use it.
