I had started using Mozilla Firefox but there are some sites I need to use IE7. Now IE7 and Yahoo messenger don't work IE7 trys to start up and then won't connect. I get an http error 12007 yet I have no problems connecting with Firefox. Any ideas?

I was going to suggest uninstall of IE7 but seems that isn't working for others either.
Flush DNS, in command prompt put [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]ipconfig /flushdns
If you are not on dial up what are your settings in Control Panel, Internet Options, Connections, LAN Settings ? In Internet Options, Advanced is "Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility) checked? Do you utilize the program CCleaner? You can also update Windows with Firefox via http://windowsupdate.62nds.com/

Yeah, the first thing I tried was to uninstall and reinstall IE7 but no luck

I tried flush dns, doesn't seem to work

    Passive ftp is check.

I'll let you know how CCleaner works for me.

    Thanks for the help
