IE& says that a problem has caused it to close, but it wont say what the problem is. The window freezes while another internet window automatically pops up. I tried unistalling all programs installed prior to this problem. This has not worked. Im lost and quite annoyed at having to switch users to get rid of the frozen window. Please help!

I was going to suggest this also. You might also want to try another browser. While it won't fix the problem, it might tell us if it's a Windows problems, or if the problem is just with IE7. Try uninstalling IE7 (it will revert automatically to IE6) and then do some surfing with IE6 and see how it goes. If IE6 is OK, download and run Dial_a_Fix and check the boxes in the Registration Center and the SSL section and click Go. Then re-install IE7.

You could try running Dial_A_Fix before removing IE7 but I don't think it will do much, but it can't hurt I guess.... Dial_A_Fix also has a Tools section with all kinds of helpful fixes. Look through it and try some of the things listed and see if they help.

    ;) Good Luck!
