    Hi,

Since my automatic updates for Windows Vista has upgraded my IE from 7 to 8 I am getting a high percentage of internet pages that are working but I keep getting errors on the page in the bottom left hand corner, for instance:

    Webpage error details

    User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0; GTB6; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; MSN Optimized;GB; OfficeLiveConnector.1.3; OfficeLivePatch.0.0; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; MSN Optimized;GB)

This happens for a majority of Websites I access.

Also Adobe Flash Player will not now work on my machine. I have uninstalled it and tried re-installing this from the Adobe website and it still will not work! It states it is installed in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel!!

I have Windows Vista Home Premium. Can anybody help to overcome the above??!!

    Cheers

Apparently Adobe flash player 10 doesn't work on 64 bit explorer. You need to make sure you are using the 32 bit version. If you go on to the Microsoft help pages you should be able to download the 32 bit version for Vista. Unfortunately as I use XP the link Calvin from Microsoft support sent me won't work for you but you should be able to find some help. Many people are having a problem with this Adobe app.

Thanks for the response. I have uninstalled IE8 and re-installed making sure it is for the 32 Bit Vista Version I have. Flash Player still does not work and a number of websites where there are pictures are not showing these!! This is really doing my head in now as this was an automatic update, I may as well uninstall and go back to IE7 until Microsoft bother to sort out these problems!!!
