IE8 displays 8 tabs when started.

I have the home page set to Google.

For a few days now, whenever I start IE8 it opens 8 Google tags.

Why?

Navigate to Control Panel > Internet Options (or while using IE select Internet Options from the Tools drop-down menu). In the Home Page section of the General tab delete any extraneous entries there (usually there should be only one address - some prefer multiples) and Ok out of Internet Options. Close and reopen Internet Explorer to see if your symptoms have changed.
