IE8 keeps "encountering a problem" and closing

I installed IE8 yesterday and have had nothing but problems. It slowed my pc down considerably and keeps giving the error message that it has encountered a problem and has to close. I can't seem to find any help from MSN. Cam anyone help. I want my IE7 back!!! Thanks......Chris:cry

 

I had problems also IE8 slowed down my PC. So I just went to Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs and uninstalled the IE8. It took me back to IE7.

Now the only problem I seem to be having is opening more than one window at a time. I like to have two side by side for a lot of the things I do. When I double click on the IE icon on my desk top to open the second window it will bring it up but never fully load where I can use it. I don't know if this is because of the uninstall of IE8 or not. Have not had time to check on that yet. Maybe someone here knows.

 

Ditto for having problems with IE 8. Nothing worked. Leaving IE 7 on for updates only. Seemed a downgrade to me. Firefox works great.
